Janice Marie (Bass) Scheffler
After a courageous four year fight with breast cancer, surrounded by her family, Janice passed away at her home on August 23, 2002.
Janice was born in Richmond, Virginia on April 10, 1951 and moved to Bainbridge Island in 1975 where she met her surviving husband of 24 years, Bill Scheffler. She is also survived by her daughters, Audrey (Scheffler) Wilson, and Michelle Scheffler; her son Eric Scheffler; her mother Dorothy Bass; her brothers, Lee and Thomas Bass; and her granddaughter Taylor Rose Wilson.
Memorial services will be held Friday, August 30th at 1:00pm at Grace Church, 1232 SW Dash Point Road, Federal Way, WA 98023. Reception to follow at Grace Church.
