  Notes	The News-Sentinel, Fort Wayne, Indiana, 20 Nov 1990 James F. Bassett James F. Bassett, 64, died yesterday at home. The Pittsburgh native lived in Fort Wayne since 1955. He retired in 1988 as a truck driver for Food Marketing Co. after 28 years. He was a Navy veteran and a member of Concordia Lutheran Church, American Legion Post 82 and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Surviving are his wife, Ruth A.; a son, James F. Bassett II of Fort Wayne; stepdaughters, Laura A. Bollinger of White Pigeon, Mich., and Michele R. Schoenherr of Sawyer Air Forice Base, Mich.; brothers, John of Fort Wayne and William and Robert, both of Pittsburgh; a sister, Peggy Brough of Huson, Mont.; and three grandchildren. Services are 1 p.m. Monday and calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road. Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery. Preferred memorials are gifts to the Allen County Cancer Society.
