Finck-Bassett
Forestport, May 16 - Miss Nila Bassett of Fulton, daughter of Frank Bassett of Forestport, and Chester Finck, grandson of W.C. Finck of Fulton, were married Friday at Moriah Presbyterian Church in Utica. The Rev. Williams performed the ceremony. They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Edward Rogers, Utica, sister and brother-in-law of the bride.
Mrs. Finck is a former resident of Forestport. She was graduated from Forestport Central School and is a registered nurse having trained in the House of Good Shepherd in Utica and in a New Jersey hospital. Her many friends here extend congratulations.

Fulton Obituary
Mrs. Nila Finck
FULTON - Funeral services for Mrs. Nila Finck, 33, wife of Chester Finck, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday with Reverend Luther Ridgeway, minister of Bowens Corners Methodist church, officiating at the home of her brother, F. Wade Bassett, Cayuga street. Burial will be in Fairdale cemetery.
Mrs. Finck, who died Wednesday evening at her home in Dexterville, was a native of Forestport and resided there many years. Prior to her marriage she was a practicing registered nurse.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Finck is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Edward Wickham and Mrs. Edward Rogers, both of Utica; her father, Frank Bassett, Forestport; and five brothers, Elmer and George Bassett, both of Forestport; F. Wade Bassett, Fulton; and Clarence and Warren Bassett, of the U.S. Army.
Funeral services are in charge of Ernest Springer.
