  Notes	Florida Times-Union, July 29, 2014 Hugh Eldon Bassett BASSETT Hugh Eldon Bassett, age 87 passed on to a new life July 27, 2014. He was survived and will be greatly missed by his daughter, Brenda Vega; his grandson, Christopher Coker; and his great granddaughters, Zena Coker and Skyler Coker. Mr. Bassett was a United States Army Veteran of World War II and a retired truck driver of almost 50 years. He was a man of tremendous character, immense wisdom and a larger than life soul that was absolutely radiant to all that were blessed to have known him. He was a wonderful friend, father, grandfather, great grandfather and so much more. He will be greatly missed by many and remembered forever. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014, 10:00 AM at Jacksonville Memory Gardens, Garden of Christus, 111 Blanding Blvd., Orange Park, FL. with Rev. Ray Mayfield officiating.
