Victoria Ann Bass
Victoria Ann Bass, beloved spouse, devoted mother, and caring grandmother, joined her husband in eternal rest on Mar 23, 2010. Born near Milwaukee, WI on Aug 13, 1934, Vicki served in the US Army during the Korean War. Following the war, she married Roger Stuart Bass at Milwaukee's Unity Lutheran Church in June, 1954. She raised a family of three children, worked in a number of firms as an executive assistant, and returned to college as a Grandmother, studying Mathematics. As a pianist, she shared an infectious love for music and the theater arts. She loved to travel and enjoyed the discovery of new things. She inspired her children to develop a love of learning and was as comfortable discussing new computer technologies as she was in delving into the finer points of philosophy. A ready listener, sought-after for her common sense and sound spiritual grounding, Vicki loved deeply and was deeply loved by everyone who came into her world. She will be greatly missed by all. Vicki is survived by her three children and their families, Roger and Candy and their daughter Catherine; Jeffery and Lisa; and Cynthia and her two sons, Robert and Jeffery. Interment will be at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery on Tuesday, 30 Mar at 10:45 AM.
