JOE D. BASSETT
Joe D. Bassett, 93, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at Washington Regional Medical Center.
He was born August 5, 1916 at Sulphur City, Arkansas, the son of David Earl & Mamie Bassett.
He was an automobile mechanic.
He is survived by: His wife: Ina Bassett Two sons: Joe Edward Bassett of Lewisville, TX David Earl Bassett of Bay Saint Louis, MS Six Step-children Five grandchildren Sixteen step-grandchildren Nineteen step-great-grandchildren Four step-great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm, Noon, Friday, December 18 at Fairview Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Moores Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Earl D. Morris In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to: American Heart Association & Stroke Association Memorial & Tribute Processing Center P. O. Box 1653 Topeka, KS 66601-1653 Or to a favorite charity.
