  Notes	Springfield Union, January 17, 1957 Ulric L. Bessette Ulric L. Bessette of 54 Fairview Ave., West Springfield, died Wednesday in his home after a long illness. He was born in Farnham, P.Q., Canada, son of the late Moise and Marie (Parent) Bessette, and made his home in West Springfield for 55 years. He was employed by Perkins Machine and Gear Co. until he retired in 1951. He was a member of St. Louis Parish, West Springfield. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Alice (Carrier) Bessette; a daughter, Miss Cecile J. Bessette at home, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at the Curran-Jones funeral home, West Springfield, Saturday at 8 a.m. followed by a solemn high requiem mass in St. Louis Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 pm.
