      Beloit, WI - Sharon L. Bass, 81, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2025 in Select Specialty Hospital, Madison. She was born on June 14, 1944 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of George and Julia (Tiry) Graves. Sharon was a 1962 Beloit Memorial High School graduate. She married Clyde Bass Jr. on July 8, 1967 in Sun Valley Presbyterian Church. He predeceased her on March 27, 2010. Sharon was formerly employed by Fairbanks Morse, Adtec and Data Dimensions, and Sentry Food in Beloit and Janesville. She was a very active member of Sun Valley Presbyterian Church; where she was an organist, choir member, custodian, worship committee member, elder, and deacon. Sharon could often be found knitting, crafting, or baking. She was known for sharing her sweet treats. Sharon enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers on the TV, going out to eat, and collecting cardinals. Survivors include her children, Kent (Patti) Bass and Julie (Dale Delaney) Bass; and granddaughters, Elise and Taye. Sharon was predeceased by her parents; brother, Lanny Graves; aunt and uncle who raised her, Percy (Flora) Purviance. The family would like to give a special thank you to the fourth floor CICU at Beloit Memorial Hospital and the fourth floor staff at Select Specialty Hospital in Madison for the care they gave to their mother. A Funeral Service for Sharon will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Sun Valley Presbyterian Church, 1650 Sun Valley Dr., Beloit, WI, with Pastor Dave Ewing officiating. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI. Visitation will also be 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to Sun Valley Presbyterian Church.
