Soules, James 7/19/1987 - 3/24/2018 Cedar Springs James Joseph Soules, age 30, was called home to heaven on Saturday, March 24, 2018. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on July 19, 1987 to Joseph Soules and Laura Ranes. He graduated from Sparta High School. James was actively involved in the Special Olympics, was a member of Action Drummers through ACT, MOKA, the Friendship Club at Rockford Baptist Church and worked in customer service at Culver's. James had a love for Nascar and his favorite driver was Jeff Gordon. Please wear Nascar wear or Special Olympics gear to the visitation and the funeral service. James is survived by his parents, Laura Bassett and Joey Baker & Joseph and Carol Soules; his sisters, BreeAnne Bassett and Emma Baker; his brothers, Bradley Bassett and Dylan Soules; his grandparents, Nancy Jensen and Dave, Robert Ranes, and Janet Bassett; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and his best friend, Kyle. Services for James will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 12:00 PM at Bostwick Lake Congregational Church with Rev. Tom Lawton officiating. Family will meet visitors on Thursday, March 29th at Hessel-Cheslek Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 PM with a prayer vigil at 7:30 PM by Deacon Jeff Burns and on Friday, at the Church one hour prior to the service.
