Don Bassett: Art is Exhibition (1915-1998)
Born in small village near Grand Rapids, Michigan during the turbulent time
before World War I, inspired by his great-grandfather who built luxury
carriages from the ground up. After WWII Bassett headed west to Phoeni
Countless civic and industrial exhibits, exhibition space planning and custom
projects fill his extensive portfolio of accomplishments.
A master recycler, Don turned to sculpture in 1972. His found art sculpture,
which he created in the Old High School in Jerome, delight all who encounter
them.
