He married Mildred Fox on Sept. 21, 1924. She died May 29, 1976. He married Ruth B. Means on June 12, 1977. She died Aug. 4, 1986. He farmed all his life in Marion Township, Shelby County. He was a member of the Liberty United Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, Paul Earnest, Shelbyville, and Norm William, Seymour; a brother, Ralph, Marion; two sisters, Helen Cosan, and Mary Ellen (Mrs. Robert) Cooley, both of Kokomo; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Carmony-Ewing Funeral Home, 819 S. Harrison St., with the Rev. Judy Purvis officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral hom Memorials may be made to Liberty United Methodist Church or the Sandcreek-Azalia Friends Meeting Church, Columbus.
