      Walter Lee Bass, age 79, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2025, at ParcPlace Medical Resort. Born on September 11, 1945, Walter lived a full and joyful life, bringing warmth and laughter to all who knew him. Walter was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and a brother. He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Barbara Bass; stepchildren Mike Kozikoski and his wife Tiffany, and Kathleen Kozikoski; and grandchildren Sydney, Camden, and Jaden Kozikoski. He also leaves behind his sisters Jenny and her husband Tom, and Golda and her husband Brad, along with numerous cherished nieces and nephews. A man of many passions, Walter was especially known for his love of all things Mickey Mouse. His extensive collection brought joy not only to himself but also to those who shared in his enthusiasm. Family and friends are invited to honor Walter's life at Buchanan Funeral Home on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., with a interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
      Walter will be remembered for his kind heart, playful spirit, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed.
