The Elwood native retired from Indiana and Michigan Electric Co. and was married to the late Rosco Bassett. Surviving are children, Jerry, Alexandria, and Larry Muncie; sister, Ma Cooper-Sanibel, Florida; and five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Services: 1 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Cliff Richardson officiating. Burial: Park View Cemetery. Visitation: 4-7- p.m. today at Whetsel Funeral Home, 1503 S. Park Ave., and noon until services Thursday at the church. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
