  Notes	REPORTER, VACAVILLE, CALIFORNIA, WED., SEPT. 20, 1978 Donald Bassett Dies at 75 Donald Clark Bassett, 75, a native of Elmira, died Friday in a Tulare hospital after an illness of several months. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy Bassett of the Elmira area. He was a graduate of the Cooper Elementary School, east of Vacaville, and was a 1922 graduate of Vacaville High School. He later attended the University Farm, (UC Davis). He was a frequent visitor to this area after he had moved away, and had attended annual reunions of his Vaca High clas He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Knights Templar and Royal Arch Masons of Tulare and the Scottish Rite of Fresno. For a number of years he was a milk inspector for Los Angeles a Tulare Counties. Later he was a laboratory technician with the Challenge Creamery in Lemore. Following his retirement he resided in Tular Surviving are his widow, Bernice of Tulare; a son, Dale of Sunland, and a twin sister, Dorothy Wride of Kenwood. There are three grandchildren.
