  Notes	Americus Time-Recorder, Georgia, 2 November 1925 Robert Lee Bass Is Victim Of Heart Failure Dies at home Near Leslie After Dinner Today Was in Apparent Good Health Sumter County lost another one of its best known citizens today at about 1:30 o?clock when Robert Lee Bass died at his home near Leslie. Mr. Bass had bee in apparent good health, and during the moring had been to Leslie. He returned home, ate his dinner and started to read his paper. His wife was called and when she went to him he said, ?I have a peculiar feeling?, and immediately died. Heart failure was assigned by the physician as the cause of his death. Mr. Bass who was 58 years of age had been a resident of Sumter County for sometime and was well known all over the county. He is survived by hiw widow, three daughters, Miss Vera and Mary Bell and Mrs. Chris Wilkinson; two sons, Earl and Therion. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Zion church near Leslie Tomorrow morning at 10 o?clock with Rev. J.H. Wilson officiating.
