Mr. Bassett is survived by his wife, Ada Bassett, and three children, Eleanor, Loretta and Willis Roy Bassett, all of Lamanda Park; also his father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel A. Bassett of Pasadena; one brother, Charles Henry Bassett of Pasadena, five sisters, Myrtle Elder of Oklahoma, Dora Barker of Lockwood, Mo., Nellie Noble and Ethel Groves of Pasadena and Ollie McGowen of Los Angeles. The funeral arrangements will be announced later by Powell and Meacham Lamanda Park, funeral directors, 2675 Nina street.
