Wayne Bass
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Wayne Bass, who left us far too soon at the age of 55. He passed away surrounded by the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, strength, and unwavering love. A devoted father and proud grandfather, Wayne was the heart of his family. He is survived by his two daughters, Mariah (Trent) Dowdy and Taylor Bass, and three adoring grandchildren (Liam, Miles, & Vivian) who brought immense joy to his life. His presence will also be dearly missed by his four siblings; Deborah (Keith) Collins, Carol (Joe) Thornton, Tina (Wes) Weaver, and Clint (Sarah) Bass, as well as all who knew and loved him. Wayne was known for his incredible sense of humor and his ability to bring lightness to any situation. Whether cracking a joke at just the right moment or making the best of life's challenges, he had a gift for lifting spirits. He worked hard throughout his life but always made time for the people who mattered most. He loved deeply, gave generously, and lived with a full heart. To know him was to laugh with him. To be loved by him was to feel safe, seen, and cherished. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will last forever. The family asks that you honor his memory by sharing a laugh with someone you love or taking a moment to appreciate the people who make life meaningful-just as he always did.
