Maxine Ann Bassett Foster Moore, 71
FRYEBURG - Maxine Ann Bassett Foster Moore, 71, of Boynton Beac
Fla., and Fryeburg, died Thursday, May 17, 2007, at the home of her daughter
in Holyoke, Mass.
She was born in Boston, Mass., the daughter of the late Maxwell and
Agnes (Frazier) Bassett, was educated in the Westwood, Mass. Schools and the
Catherine Laboure School of Nursing in Boston. She was a longtime Registered
Nurse, and worked for many years as a school nurse at MSAD #72 in Fryeburg,
retiring in 1996. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in
Fryeburg and a long time member of the Maine School Nurses Associatio
Ann was predeceased by her first husband, John C. Foster in 1974; and
by her brother, Justin Clifford Bassett. She is survived by her husband,
Wendell F. Moore of Fryeburg; a son, Paul D. Foster of Scarborough; two
daughters, Julie L. Roebelen of Windsor, Conn., and Debra A. Foster of
Holyoke; four grandchildren, Johann, Daniell, Kalli, and Natalie; two
brothers, Brian D. Bassett of Fryeburg and E. Barry Bassett of Chapel Hill,
N.C.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m., Monday from St. Elizabeth Ann
Seton Catholic Church, Fryeburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions should be made to your local
chapter of the American Cancer Society (Maine).
