Mrs. B.N. Bass
The death of Mrs. Ethel May Bass, wife of B. Newitgt Bass, of the city police force, occurred at 6:10 o?clock this morning at her home in south Gibson street. Mrs. Bass had been ill only a week with pneumonia, and her death came as a great shock to family and friends. She was a most estimable Christian woman, a kind and devoted wife and mother, daughter and sisters, and the sympathy of all goes out to this bereaved and stricken home.
Mrs. Bass was 27 years of age, having been born July 6, 1889. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Jones, of Patoka, who survived, together with the husband, one small son, Hollis, and two sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Alice Day and Mrs. Sylvia Bruner, of Princeton, and Lawrence, Austin and Hampton Jones of Patoka.
The funeral arrangements have not been announced.
