BASSETT Robert Bernard Bassett was born September 12, 1950 in Jacksonville, FL. He died peacefully at home from natural causes on December 18, 2017. Predeceased by his parents, Robert Bassett (8/8/17) and Kitty Bassett (1/15/06) and daughter, Holly Williams (12/9/17). Known to friends and family as Bobby, he held a lifelong devotion to his family. He was a skilled guitarist whose ministry of music blessed our hearts, homes, churches, and even hospitals. He was a long time member of Grace Church of Avondale. His smile was a precious light in a world so dark and His faith in Jesus was as an oak of God's righteousness (Is 61:3). Survived by his children: Jessica (Adam) Deguzman, Jack and Craig Bassett; and his siblings: Susan Ebbs, Mary Jane Wheeler, Jacqueline Jacob and Edward Bassett; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, followed by interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
