Marie Bassett (1919-2005)
Marie Bassett, 85, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2005, in Fort Worth.
Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Home.
Mrs. Bassett was born September 9, 1919, in Noboean, New Jersey. She volunteered with Fort Worth Independent School District, instructing and helping children. Marie was a wonderful mother, working and raising three children. She had been a resident of Fort Worth since 1952 and retired from General Dynamics in 1994. Marie loved children, animals and gardening. She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.
Survivors: Sons, Mike Murphy, John Bassett and wife, Carol, James Bassett and wife, Mary; and grandson, Ian Bassett.
