Lost to Family For 10 Years
Discovered by Brother in Hospital and Died a Few Hours Later.
Pittsburgh, November 19 ? After being lost to his family for ten years, Stephen Bassett, who was seriously ill, was found by a brother, and died a few hours afterward.
While chatting to W.J. Bassett, a New York travelling man, an office of the Pressed Steel Car Company of McKee?s Rocks, near here said: ?We have an employee of your name in bad shape from pneumonia at a hospital here.?
Bassett said he had a brother who had been missing for years. He went in the hospital and discovered that the dying man was this brother, who died n a few hours.
It is said that Bassett, who was thirty-five years of age, was the son of rich parents. The body was sent to New Rochelle.
