Terry Yvonne Bass
Terry Yvonne Bass was called home on June 22, 2005, after a very courageous battle with cancer.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Valley Church, 5063 Maple Road, Vacaville. Pastor Raleigh Galgan will officiate. Burial will be private at the Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery.
Terry loved people - her family, parents, daughters, brothers and friends.
She is survived by two beautiful daughters, Allyse Lopez, 18, and Katelynn Cole, 13. Terry is also survived by her loving and supportive parents, Sam and Vi Bass; brothers, Gene (Julie), their two sons, Justin and Jacob; and Fred (Arie).
Terry was loved by several aunts, uncles and cousins across the U.S. and Canada that will miss her too. She is also survived by her long-time friend, Wanda Frizza who was like a sister to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Lopez.
Terry was born Nov. 14, 1955, in Charleston, S.C. She was raised in the Solano area. She graduated from Vanden High School in 1973 and went on to work as a supervisor at American Home Foods for 20 years.
These past several years, she worked at Green Tree Golf Club. She loved working there. She loved the staff, the public she served and had a positive impact there. She belonged and was very active at First Baptist Church in Winters while living there.
She is now with the Lord who she loves with all her heart and has looked forward to seeing.
