Linda Jean Bass
Linda Bass of Buckeye Lake, Ohio, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026. She was born on October 22, 1963.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eileen and George Bass. Linda will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Sandy and (Ron) Bowman, and Judy and (Darryl) Welch; her brother, Ray and (Janet) Bass; her sons, Shawn and (Samantha) Bass, and Jason and (Hailey Rose) Hockman; and her beloved grandchildren, Skylynn and Shaylynn. She is lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever cherish the love and light she shared.
Family was at the very center of Linda's life. She loved deeply and unconditionally, always putting others before herself. Her greatest happiness was found in the time she spent with those she loved-whether it was a simple gathering, a holiday celebration, or a quiet moment together. Linda treasured every opportunity to be surrounded by her family and friends. Her home and her heart were always open, and she had a special way of making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and loved.
Linda had a deep connection to the Deaf community and was known for her warmth, compassion, and genuine care for others. She worked at Harry & David, where she took great pride not only in her work but also in the relationships she built. Linda found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially time spent at the lake. She also had a special talent and passion for photography, preserving meaningful moments to share with her family and friends.
Linda's kindness, love, and memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A celebration of Linda's life will be held on Sunday, April 19, at 4:00 PM at the Buckeye Lake Fraternal Order of Eagles 2801 - 3240 Walnut Road, Buckeye Lake, Ohio 43008.
Linda will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
