Katherine Foote
Concord, NH - Katherine Frances (Bassett) Foote passed away peacefully at home on November 6th surrounded by her loved ones. Kathy was born at home in Boscawen, NH on March 29, 1934 to Edward and Kathleen Lynch Bassett. She is survived by her twin brother Maurice J Bassett and his wife Dorothy of Canton, OH. Kathy is the proud mother of four children Stanley Foote Jr and his wife Wanda of Penacook, daughter Debra Green and her husband Richard of Boscawen, son William and his wife Loralyn of Concord and Roseann Davis and her husband Ransom of Andover; her grandchildren Christina Ghallami, Daniel Foote, Christopher Green, Jennifer Wilbourne, Kirsten O'Neil, Heidi Croft, Ryan, Breanna & Keith Davis and Jaret Foote. She is also survived by her 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Stanley E Foote and her brothers Raymond, Eugene and John (Bernie) Bassett.
Kathy was employed by Hoyt and Beede Electric for many years.
Family was the most important part of Kathy's life. She enjoyed many years of camping and boating on the NH lakes with the family. She looked forward to going out to eat, car rides and road trips. She cherished her many friendships made at the Penacook Senior Center and loved her daily card games with her niece Bonnie Caprarello. She also enjoyed knitting beautiful baby clothes and blankets.
Special thanks to her nephew Jim Foote and her nieces for all the support they provided her throughout this journey.
The family will receive visitors Wednesday, November 16th 3?7pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 172 King Street in Boscawen. Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, November 17th at 12 o'clock in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow immediately at NH Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway in Boscawen.
