Born Jan. 23, 1931, to George and Gertrude Glass in Covington, Tenn., she enjoyed Southern cooking, playing bingo, going to garage sales and her poodle, Tasha. Survivors include daughters Brenda Bass of Bellingham and Barb Williams of Burlington; sons, Gary Bass and Morris Bass, both of Lynden, and Robert Bass of Bellingham; sister Mary Burgin of Nestlend, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
