Bradenton, Florida - Mr. Eugene J. Preisser 83, formerly of Pine Grove Drive, Richmond, Massachusetts died Friday morning, November 26, 2021, at Hawthorne Village in Sarasota, Florida. He was born in New Britain, Connecticut on May 14, 1938, to the late Julius and Emma Preisser. He graduated from New Britain High School in 1956 and spent most of his life in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. He married his wife, June L. Bassett, on July 25, 1959 at Notre Dame Church in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Mr. Preisser worked as a machinist and mechanical engineer for numerous companies in Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts. He also started his own company, S&M Precision, in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Mr. Preisser enjoyed building and flying radio controlled aircraft, golf, and his beloved Boston Red Sox. He and his wife retired to Bradenton, Florida in 2004. He is survived by his two sons; Curt and Kyle Preisser.
