Colchester - Michelle L. Martin, 45, passed unexpectedly in a tragic car accident on Saturday, Feb. 27, 2021.
She is survived by her five amazing sons: James, 27, Trevor, 23 and Triston, 21 Gaboriault and Trenton Bessette, 14 and Hezekiah Martin, 7; her beautiful mother, Pamela Boyer, her father Gerald Bessette, her grandbabies: Viketally and Vincent Gaboriault; her daughter-in-law Jaade and her sisters: Loretta Bessette and Sheila Boyer as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was not always dealt the most fair of cards throughout her childhood, teenage and adulthood years. But, despite every hardship endured, Michelle was always the brightest shining light and center of attention. You couldn't help but smile when you were around her. Her journey through motherhood began early on but, from the moment she gave birth, she knew that being a mommy was her calling. She absolutely adored being a mother and took great pride in being the grandma who still "had it going on". She was always bragging about her James' babies.
There will be a funeral/wake service on Monday, Mar. 8, 2021 in Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Home, 97 Elmwood Ave., Burlington. Calling hours will be from 5 to 6 PM for the general public and from 6 to 8 PM exclusively for immediate family. We ask everyone attending to stop by the guest book and write down one memory of Michelle.
