Doris Bass Booth
Doris Bass Booth went to be with her Lord on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at the age of 96. She was predeceased by her father, James Cleveland Bass, and mother, Anna Williamson Bass; brothers, J. Eugene Bass, Frank F. Bass, Richard W. Bass, and Owen M. Bass; and sister, Ruth Bass Christian.She was married in 1952 to G. Thomas "Tom" Booth who predeceased her.She is survived by her daughter, Ann Booth Martin and her husband, Al; grandson, Thomas F. "Tom" Martin; great-granddaughters, Gwendolyn Grace Martin, and Macy Blair Martin all of Danville; and a number of nieces and nephews.Family and friends will celebrate her life on Memorial Day, Monday, May 30, 2016,at College Park Baptist Church. The service will be at 3 p.m. with visitation preceding from 1:30until 2:30 p.m., the Reverend Dr. Gary Tucker officiating.Memorial contributions may be made to College Park Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.Townes Funeral Home, 215 West Main Street, is serving the Booth Family.
