Theresa Bessette Chicoine, Lake Geneva, Wis.
Theresa Besstte Chicoine of Lake Geneva, Wis., died on Aug. 28, 2006, in Mt. Carmel Nursing home in Burlington, Wis.
Theresa was born on Dec. 17, 1927, to Adelord and Louise Bessette of Eden, Vt. She grew up in Burlington, Vt. and married George Chicoine of Winooski.
She raised her family and worked throughout they years as a seamstress and caregiver. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and baking. Her life was bout giving to others, serving the Lord. Theresa will be missed by those who shared in her life and love.
She was preceded in death by her former husband George; son Michael; brother Gilbert Bessette; sisters, Gilbett Crice, Margaret Gelinas and Noella Parent. She is survived by her children, Cindy and Lary Caron, Vermont, Steve Chicoine, Vermont, Jim and Sherry Chicoine, Arizona, Thom Chicoine, Vermont, Lydia Chicoine, and Brett Mueller, Wisconsin, Mary and Scott Temple, South Dakota, Peter and Philip Chicoine, Vermont; along with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 15, at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa?s Catholic Church in Hyde Park, Vt. Interment to follow at St. Teresa?s Cemetery.
