Funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday, May 23, 2005 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc, Dr. Roy L. McLaughlin officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Saturday and Sunday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospice of Roscommon. Thomas was born November 8, 1916 in Kennett, MO, the son of Thomas and Hazel (Philhouer) Bass. Survivors include: daughters, Carolyn (Bill) Denton and Karyle Golden; sons, Thomas (Patricia) Bass Jr. and William J. Bass; 18 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Davidson; brother, Wayne Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria and daughter, Margaret.
