  Notes	Daytona Beach News-Journal, 18 Nov 2006 Dorothy Bassett DAYTONA BEACH - Dorothy Louise Bassett, 84, of Jamestown Drive, a native of Clifton, N.J., died Wednesday at Halifax Medical Center. Mrs. Bassett, a homemaker, came here in 1956 from Providence, R.I. She was a member of Colony Community Church and The Red Hat Society. Mrs. Bassett served in the Navy Waves and was proud to continue in the long line of family Navy veterans. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Eugene; two sons, Thomas and Michael; two daughters, Jean Georgi and Susan Means; a sister, Barbara Mullery; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. NewLife Cremation, Ormond Beach, is in charge.
