  Notes	Daily Sentinel Rome, New York Monday Evening, October 27, 1930 Funeral Services Held for Forestport Man Forestport, October 27 - Funeral services for Stewart Bassett, 28, who was found dead at a camp near here Saturday, were held today with burial at Alder Creek cemetery. A coroner’s verdict gave suffocation as the cause of death. Bassett was last seen alive Thursday at 5 p.m., when he went to his father’s camp on a lake near the village. The victim had attended Forestport schools. He never married.
