- Mrs. Wava J. Bassett
We regret to inform you of the death of Mrs. Wava J. Bassett, widow of
Reverend Wendell C. Bassett, on Thursday, July 11, 2002 in Kissimmee, Florida.
A Funeral Service has already been held in Florida.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2002 at 10 a.m.
at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 1919 South Pennsylvania Avenue,
Lansing, Michigan (517-482-8202). Burial will take place at the Nashvil
Cemetery at 3 p.m.
Condolences may be sent to Mrs. Bassett's daughters: Reverend Donna

Mrs. Bassett served actively with her husband, Reverend Bassett, in
his ministry at the following churches: Marcellus, Nashville, Blissfiel
Detroit Calvary, as Conference Superintendent (EUB Michigan Conference),
Executive Director of the Council of Churches and as Associated General
Secretary of the General Board of Global Ministries.
