Wesley Thomas Bessette
Wesley Thomas Bessette, 26, went to be with the Lord, Monday, April 23, 2018. He was born October 20, 1991 in Pittsfield, MA to John J. Bessette and Deborah Polidoro Bessette. Wesley attended Wahconah Regional High School and graduated from Pittsfield High School in 2010. Wesley enjoyed playing sports, especially basketball and was a body building enthusiast. He was an honest, hardworking, caring, giving and unique young man. Wesley had an unforgettable contagious smile. Wesley, in his young life, accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and we know he is enjoying his new home in heaven.
Wesley is survived by his parents, John & Deborah Bessette of Raleigh; sister, Mallory Bessette (Tim) of Raleigh; brother, Matthew Bessette of Raleigh; maternal grandmother, Margaret Polidoro of MA; aunts: Katherine Yon (David) of MA, Peggy Mercadante (Al) of MA, Denise Bessette (Bill) of ME; uncles: Joseph Polidoro (Anne) of MA, Leslie Bessette (Sherry) of MA, Rich Bessette (Casey) of MA; great-uncle, Alfred Ricci of MA; cousins: Lucas, Christopher, Kelly-Anne, Andrew, Ashley, Austin, Michelle, Tony, Danielle, Vicki and Joe; his beloved cat, Buddy and a multitude of extended family.
Wesley was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Lucien ?Happy? Polidoro; paternal grandparents, Albert ?PiPi? and Mabel ?MiMi? Bessette.
Funeral Notice:
A service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Friendship Baptist Church, 5510 Falls of Neuse Rd., Raleigh, NC 27609.
Another service to celebrate his life will be held at the Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1123 West St, Pittsfield, MA in July, with date and time to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Berkshire Humane Society or to the Cornerstone Baptist Church, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home, 776 North St., Pittsfield, MA, 01201.
