September 17, 2015 Lenore Patricia Bassett (Lee), age 86, passed away peacefully on Sept. 17, 2015 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Lee was predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur F. Bassett Jr. She has left behind many dear family and friends including her daughters, Susan Bassett, Barbara (Matthew) Lambert, Elizabeth Palombit and Nancy (Gary) Wittenberg. Lee was also predeceased by her son-in-law Marc Palombit. She found great joy and many blessings in her grandchildren, Jeffery (Rachel), Scott (Katie), Stephanie, Abby and Annie, along with her great-grandchildren, Ethan, Emery and Cooper. Lee loved to play golf and cards, especially bridge. She enjoyed the company of her many friends and co-workers from Jacobsons. A Memorial service will be held on Monday September 28, 2015 at 10:30 am at A.H. Peters Funeral Home at 20705 Mack Ave. Grosse Pointe Woods. ahpeters.com.
