Ethel (Bassett) Alto
Hyannisport ? Ethel (Bassett) Alto, 84, of West Hyannisport, died Sunday, June 8, 1997, at her home after a long illness. She was the widow of Kauko Alto. Born in Wareham, she moved to West Hyannisport in 1935. She was a member of the West Yarmouth Congregational Church. Survivors include a daughter, Elma Hughes of West Hyannisport; a brother, Ralph Bassett of Seal Beach, Calif.; two sisters, Carol LeConte of Rochester and Ruth Hathaway of West Wareham; two grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sisters of the late Louise McGillen, Phillip Seaver and Arthur Bassett. Arrangements are by the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road, Marston Mills.

A Memorial Service will be held in West Yarmouth Congregational Church, Route 28, W. Yarmouth on Wed. June 11, at 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
