PAWTUCKET - Rita A. Proulx, 87, of Pawtucket, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Carroll Proulx. Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Ovila and Alma (Bessette) Delude. Rita worked for Texas Instruments for many years before retiring.
She is survived by a daughter, Janet Kelsall and her husband John of Burrillville; a son Paul Proulx and his wife Robin of Pawtucket; four grandchildren, Rachel and Nicholas Fuller, Christopher Proulx, and Edward Fuller Jr., and seven great grandchildren, Aidan Donahue, Nadia Fuller, Edward Fuller III, Nicholas Fuller Jr., Ryann and Lana Fuller, and Corbin Proulx.
Her funeral will be held Friday, January 5 at 9am in the Costigan-O'Neill Funeral Home, 220 Cottage Street, Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Theresa Church, 18 Baltic Street, South Attleboro. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours Thursday from 4-7pm in the funeral home.
