Loena McLaughlin, 90, of New Haven, Indiana, formerly of Flora, died at 2:25 a.m., Sunday, July 4, 1993, at Brighton Hall Nursing Home, New Haven, Indiana.
Funeral services were Tuesday (today), at the Bloom Baptist Church. Larry Shelton officiated at the services. Burial was in the Kneff Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bloom Baptist Church. Frank and Bright Funeral Home, Flora, was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs.McLaughlin was born on December 13, 1902, in Sailor Springs, the son of Green and Druscila (Groves) Bassett. She married George 0. McLaughlin in 1934. He died in 1992. She was a homemaker, and a member of the Bloom Baptist Church, Flora, and the Flora Radiant Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
Surviving are two daughters, Nina Greenwood of New Haven, Indiana, and Mrs. David (Betty Lou) Harmon of Lansing; one brother, Ivan Bassett of Paris, Michigan; two sisters, Bonnie Gaddy of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Mrs. Lyle (Marge) McGrady of Fremont, Michigan; nine grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and several brothers and sisters.
