Charles N. Bessette
BESSETTE, CHARLES N., of Homer Court, passed away Friday in the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center of Home and Hospice Care of RI, Providence. He was the husband of Shannon A. Murphy.
Born in Providence, he was the son of William and Noella (Leduc) Bessette Sr. of Cumberland. He resided in Cumberland for the past 24 years, previously residing in Lincoln.
Mr. Bessette was the owner of the former Advanced Pallet Co., of Smithfield for 18 years.
Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Kyle C. Bessette, Ryan W. Bessette, and Jacques L. Bessette, all at home, four brothers, William R. Bessette Jr. of Sandwich, MA, Vincent Bessette and Jay Bessette, both of Lincoln, and James Bessette of Cumberland, four sisters Joan Morin, Mary Anne Bessette, Michelle Carr and Monique Clausson all of Lincoln, and several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 A.M. from the J.J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. in the St. Edward Church, Weeden Street, Pawtucket.
