Mrs. Mark W. Bass
RED OAK ? Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday at the Perryman chapel for Mrs. Mark W. Bass, 46, of Red Oak, Route 2, who died Wednesday at Murphy Memorial hospital following and automobile accident. Montgomery County Coroner Ray Sutphen said death was due to a heart attack.
Mrs. Bass was brought to the hospital shortly after a car driven by her daughter, Carolyn, 18, skied into a ditch near Red Oak on highway 34.
Born in Mills county July 9, 1904, she was Zula Elizabeth Slump before her marriage. After completing Henderson high school, she attended Nebraska Wesleyan college at Lincoln and Massena and Stennett.
She married Mark Bass at Red Oak June 26, 1929 and they lived on a farm near Stennett.
In addition to her husband and three daughters, she is survived by four brothers, Earl, Mervin, Carroll and Kenneth, all of Red Oak.
Burial will be Evergreen cemetery.
