Robert B. Bessette, age 34 of Cambridge, passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2017. He is the son of Michelle (Bessette) Sauvé and her husband William of Fairhaven.
He worked as a general carpenter for US Construction, Inc. Boston, MA
Bobby's favorite pastime was fresh water fishing. He also enjoyed camping, listening to his music and being with friends and family.
Robert is also survived by his grandmother Blanche Bessette of New Bedford; his siblings, Cameron and Samantha Sauve and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Bobby was the maternal grandson of the late Donald Bessette of Acushnet.
Calling hours are private. Burial Mass will take place at St. Mary's Church, Main St., Fairhaven Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 9 am followed by burial in Acushnet Cemetery, Main St. Acushnet. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Substance abuse charity.
