Mrs. Bessette was born Oct. 4, 1909, in Norwich, the daughter of Adam and Anastazia Wischnewski Zelinski. She was married to William Bessette. Mrs. Bessette is survived by two sons, William Bessette of Springfield, Mass., and George Bessette of Uncasville; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A funeral service and burial will be held privately. The Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home at 12 Ocean Ave. is in charge of the arrangements.
