Cherished grandfather of Jon Burke, Emma Burke, Andrea Zara, Sarah Berry, Olivia Zara, Gino Bica, Anthony Bica, Ryan Bessette, Lauren Bessette, John Bessette, Alec Bessette, Kirstin Bessette and Tessa Bessette. Also survived by his sisters, Lorane Hoffman and Charleen Lambertz. He was predeceased by his children, Barbara Bessette and Andrew Bessette, his grandson Jory Burke and his brother Robert Bessette. Visitation Monday, December 1, 2014 1-8 pm with a 7 pm Rosary at the S. K. Schultz Funeral Home, 21705 Gratiot 8 ½ Mile, Eastpointe. In state Tuesday 9:00 am until time of Funeral Mass 9:30 am at St. Veronica Catholic Church, 21440 Universal, Eastpointe. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery.
