Harold Bassett to Wed in California
Announcement has been received here of the forthcoming marriage of Harold W. Bassett, formerly of Moberly and now living with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.H. Bassett in South Pasadena, California, to Miss Josephine Callaway, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Callaway of North Hollywood.
The engagement was revealed by Miss Callaway at a party given recently in her home. No date has been set for the wedding.
Mr. Bassett once was a carrier for the Monitor Index. He graduated from the South Pasadena High school in 1927 and attended the Pasadena Junior College. He is now employed as a special layout man for the Steelcraft Company of Los Angeles.
Mr. Bassett had two grandmothers here. They are Mrs. George Hager, 704 South Clark street, and Mrs. Robert Bassett, West Rollins street.
