Mills, Pa. Survived by wife, Patricia A. Gustin Bassett; parents, Mr. and Mrs.
Carl Bassett of Granville Summitt, RD 1, Pa.; five sisters, Mrs. Alfred
(Phillis) Castle of Canton, RD 2, Miss Betty Lou Bassett of Granville Summitt,
RD 1; Mrs. Ronald (Bonnie) Kenyon of Troy, PA., Mrs. Ralph (Carol) Kenyon of
Troy, Pa., Mrs. Merle (Alice) Randall of Monroeton; several aunts and uncles;
21 nieces and nephews. Sgt. Bassett was born in Ralston, Pa. on May 23, 1933.
He served 20 years with the U.S. Marine Corp. and was transferred to the Fleet
Wing Corp Reserve, Washington D.C. on May 23, 1973. He was a veteran of
Vietnam. Military Honors will be accorded by a detachment of the U.S. Marines
from Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
