Age: 88 ? South Burlington
It is with much sorrow that Charlotte Bassett of South Burlington, VT, life's journey ended on March 12, 2017, due to complications from a stroke, surrounded by her loving family one day after her 88th birthday.
Charlotte was born on March 11, 1929 in Burlington Vt. to Albert and Bessie (Bean) Hebert (Deceased).
Charlotte married her first love John Bassett and had three loving Daughters, Sandra, Bonnie, and Lisa.
Charlotte worked most of her professional career (Over 25 years) at New England Telephone. She enjoyed spending time with her family most of all, she also enjoyed tending to her flower garden and the joy the flowers gave her. Charlotte also enjoyed time with dear sister Marjorie Cross, Brother Ken and wife Christine. Her Bible study friends and close friends Gloria Scribner, Louise Flynn and Mary Caswell.
Charlotte is pre-deceased by (Brothers') Albert, Hector and Leonard Hebert.
Charlotte is survived by sisters Marjorie Cross and June Devriend. Brother Ken Hebert and wife Christine. Daughters, Sandra Charlson of Burlington, Bonnie Tucker and husband Ron of Essex, and Lisa Lucia and Husband Rick from Starksboro, VT.
Charlotte is also survived by her loving Grandchildren which she cherished the time that they spent together, Krista (Mcgarghan) Russo & husband Andy; Marc Gravelin & wife Jessica, Matt Gravelin & wife Tara; Ryan Lucia & wife Magda, Cortney Lucia & friend JR, Justin Lucia and Alexander Lucia & fiancee' Amber.
Charlotte also enjoyed and loved the time spent with her 9 Great grandchildren, Charlie Russo, Eleanor Russo, Alice Russo, Henry Russo , Luke Gravelin, Levi Gravelin, Zander Gravelin, Sophia Lucia and Anabelle Lucia.
Charlotte also had many loving and helping nieces and nephews that she will miss dearly.
A Family graveside service is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions can be made to North Avenue Alliance Church, 901 North Ave, Burlington, VT 05408.
