  Notes	Philadelphia Inquirer, PA, Wednesday, 29 October 1890 A Pretty Wedding in Pottstown Special To The Inquirer POTTSTOWN, Oct. 28. ? The wedding at high noon today of Miss Caroline S. Adams, daughter of C.B. Adams, of New York city, and P.J.H. Bassett, of Dover, N.J., in Christ Episcopal Church, Pottstown, was attended by a very large and fashionable assemblage of guests from New York, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Pottstown and other places. The bride, attired in a traveling suit, advanced to the altar upon the arm of J.H. Yocom, of Camden, N.J., being preceded by the ushers ? W.J. Bassett, of Pottstown; Glenn Pettit, of Washington; A.J. Barker, of Dover, and Horace E. Campbell, of Philadelphia. They were met at the chancel by the groom, and the marriage ceremony was then performed by Rev. C.L. Cooder, rector of Christ Church. Professor G.W. Gilbert performed the Lohengrin Wedding March while the bridal party entered the church. A reception at the residence of the groom?s parents followed. After a wedding tour the newly married couple will take up their residence at Dover, N.J.
