Pawtucket ? Alyce M. (Meunier) Bessette
ALYCE M. (MEUNIER) BESSETTE, 39, of Welden Street, an office manager for Ethan Allen Interiors, in Warwick, until she became ill in 1993, died Saturday at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of Robert F. Bessette.
Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Robert A. and Helen (McArdle) Meunier, she was a lifelong city resident.
She also worked for Ross-Simons Jewelers in Cranston. She was a member of the Flora Curtis School PTO and a Daisy troop leader.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Jonathan, and two daughters, Kathryn-Marie and Jennifer Lynn-Ann Bessette, all at home; three brothers, Robert Meunier of Seekonk and Arthur "Dutchy" Meunier and Daniel Meunier, both of Pawtucket; four nephews and several aunts and uncles.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the Lincoln Funeral Home, 1501 Lonsdale Ave., Lincoln, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 in St. Mary's Church, Central Avenue, Seekonk. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
