Born December 21, 1934 in Harville, Missouri to Lawrence and Helen Bass, she married Roy Sterling Sorensen in Aug 1951 in Bellingham; he preceded her in death on July 26, 1976. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Survived by six sons, Ron and wife Georgina Sorensen of Bellingham, Bruce and wife Roseanne Sorensen of Everson, Jeff Sorensen of Bellingham, Greg and wife Shirley Sorensen of Ferndale, Scott and wife Genora Sorensen of Ferndale, Keith Sorensen of Bellingham; 9 grandchildren; two sisters, Jewell Vanoven of Indiana, Wanda Fultz of Deming; three brothers, Ed Bass of Bellingham, Bud Bass of VanZandt, Sonny Bass of Ferndale; numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggest memorials to American Cancer Society, Bellingham, WA. Funeral Service Friday, July 10, 3 pm at Church of Christ, 558 Sterling Drive, Bellingham with Minister Damon Grey officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Jones-Moles Funeral Home.
